Information
This page is the entry point for DNS Hostux support requests: setup help, questions about service behavior, false positives on the blocking endpoint, or outage reports.
For blocked domains on the /ads endpoint, start with the
false positive reporting guide.
For technical details about the stack and supported protocols, you can also read the Architecture page.

What to include in a support request
If possible, include:
- the protocol you use: DoH, DoH3, DoT, DoQ, or classic DNS
- the affected system or software: Android, Firefox, AdGuard Home, dnscrypt-proxy, and so on
- the endpoint or hostname in use
- the exact error message or observed behavior
- the approximate date and, if useful, your timezone
False positive on ads / trackers blocking
If a legitimate domain is blocked by the /ads
endpoint, please report:
- the affected domain
- what feature or website breaks
- whether the issue disappears when switching back to the standard endpoint
This helps distinguish between an actual false positive and a local client-side configuration issue.
The step-by-step process is documented on Report a blocked domain.
Outage or availability issue
You can check the service status on uptime.hostux.net.
If the service is only partially reachable, mention whether the issue affects a specific protocol, network, or client type.
